Backpacking with a 10 week old baby!

Most people wouldn’t even consider packing their bags and traveling the world, but this woman decided to do so and bring her 10-week-old baby and partner.

“The overall aim is to inspire like-minded travel loving parents — your travel days do not have to be over.”

Karen Edwards, 31 years, from London, spent her maternity leave traveling with her baby Esmé and her hubby Shaun. Is this ridiculous or just super cool?

Like Karen, I’m also on a mission to visit as many countries in the world as possible. Just because you’ve settled down and have kids doesn’t mean your adventuring days are through!

“I know I feared being the ‘mum with the crying baby’ on board a busy flight…” – She wrote on her website – “By the time our little girl was four months old she had been to four countries, on a long road trip, camping, an international ferry and two long-haul flights. I am not saying it is always easy but at the end of the day it all turns out okay!”

Karen has a own blog where she gives super handy tips & tricks for parents traveling with babies:

Let’s see what I do in that situation. For now, I’m still traveling the world with my lovely partner in crime Elke

Gaaf hoor dat ze het gewoon doen! Het lijkt me best pittig maar wellicht heb ik het mis. Heb immers zelf nog geen kids dus geen ervaring.

  2. Awesome site you have here but I was curious about if you knew of any discussion boards
that cover the same topics discussed in this article?

I’d really like to be a part of community where I can get feed-back from other knowledgeable
people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations,
    please let me know. Cheers!
